We spent a lovely day with Guide Dew, visiting the Grand Palace, Wat Poh, flower markets and China town.
We used all methods of transport around the city, Sky train, boat up the river, Tuk tuk and bus.
We ate local street food and were taken to areas of the city off the beaten tourist track.
Dew was full of knowledge and information, giving us all the historical information about the Kings and their temples.
We looked through the fresh fruit and veg markets and were introduced to fruits we had never seen or tasted before.
The Chinese food markets in China town were an experience for all the senses. A bucket of Thai iced tea in a traditional local bar was really delicious! We had a fabulous day and were very grateful to our excellent guide, Dew.
Really recommend this way of seeing the city, it’s a much more personal way to experience Bangkok and worth every penny.
